Overcomer Community Development Centre is committed to providing meaningful experiential education opportunities to students from various fields such as social services, community justice, early childhood education and abused women and children’s advocacy.

Volunteers are an integral part of our organization. The work that we do would not be possible without the contributions of our volunteers. Whether you are a youth looking to complete your community service, a senior willing to contribute your skills and knowledge, or a newcomer looking for Canadian business experience, volunteering at Overcomer Community Development Centre can be a fulfilling experience.

We believe in working together to provide our volunteers with a meaningful and rewarding introduction to community work. All volunteers are connected to a supervisor who will assist them to develop and implement a work plan.

VOLUNTEER TODAY

OCDC believe in volunteering which is a great way to make a difference in our community. At the heart of OCDC services is our belief that everyone should have access to Technology, Career Counseling, New Immigrant Support,

Sports & Activities, Youth Fellowship, Mentoring. But we couldn’t do this without the support and dedication of our many volunteers.
Since Overcomer Community Development Centre provides a wide range of programs and services, there are many volunteer opportunities you can choose from including:

  • working with children in after-school programs, homework clubs, or arts and crafts programs
  • providing IT support
  • supporting fundraising and community events
  • and so much more!
