Volunteers are an integral part of our organization. The work that we do would not be possible without the contributions of our volunteers. Whether you are a youth looking to complete your community service, a senior willing to contribute your skills and knowledge, or a newcomer looking for Canadian business experience, volunteering at Overcomer Community Development Centre can be a fulfilling experience.

We believe in working together to provide our volunteers with a meaningful and rewarding introduction to community work. All volunteers are connected to a supervisor who will assist them to develop and implement a work plan.

OCDC believe in volunteering which is a great way to make a difference in our community. At the heart of OCDC services is our belief that everyone should have access to Technology, Career Counseling, New Immigrant Support,

Sports & Activities, Youth Fellowship, Mentoring. But we couldn’t do this without the support and dedication of our many volunteers.
Since Overcomer Community Development Centre provides a wide range of programs and services, there are many volunteer opportunities you can choose from including:

  • working with children in after-school programs, homework clubs, or arts and crafts programs
  • providing IT support
  • supporting fundraising and community events
  • and so much more!
