“A food pantry is another avenue for OCDC to reach the community. We distribute food to those who have difficulty purchasing enough to avoid hunger. We operate solely on gifts from individuals and donations from businesses in the the GTA area. We got the calls and our team will get to work by bringing the donations to our centre here in Brampton where we distribute to the community. In the last 2 years, OCDC has been able to give out over a million dollars ($1M) worth of food to vulnerable people, seniors in Peel Region. Thanks for helping out!

Philosophy of OCDC
OCDC is a social outreach with the mission to rebuild communities from the inside out with a comprehensive program designed to improve and enrich the lives of youth and families. It is our conviction that true change must come from the inside out. Therefore, in order to impact lives, we must address the moral and spiritual foundations upon which those lives are built, while simultaneously meeting felt needs.
OCDC will provide a hand –up, not hand-out. OCDC provides holistic long-term, not short term solutions by meeting needs in a way that changes how people think, which ultimately determines how they live.
